With roots reaching back to the Middle Ages, the Auditore family built its legacy on two pillars of Italian prestige: winemaking and banking. For centuries, they were synonymous with prosperity and refinement. But after the death of Ezio Auditore Sr., the dynasty fractured. His many children scattered across distant regions, and the ancestral Villa Auditore — once the proud heart of their lineage — fell into disrepair.

Only one son, Ezio Auditore Jr., remained. Despite his devotion, he could not maintain the vast estate alone. Now living quietly in Copperdale, he carries the memory of what the Auditores once were.

The family’s revival began with the marriage of his son, Niccolò Auditore, to Her Royal Highness Princess Francesca Isabella Maria Rinaldi, Princess Royale of Tartosa. In recognition of Niccolò’s loyalty and the union between their houses, King Gaetano Andrea Rinaldi granted him a personal elevation to the rank of Conte — a title bestowed solely upon him and any heirs born of his marriage to Francesca.

The broader Auditore branches remained untitled, marking Niccolò’s line as the newly restored noble heart of the family.

After Gaetano’s death, Francesca’s brother, His Royal Majesty King Frederico Vittorio Rinaldi, ascended the throne and gifted the couple a restored seaside fortress — now known as Castello Auditore — perched above Tartosa’s sunlit shores. It became their sanctuary, a place where the past could no longer reach them.

Both Francesca and Frederico had grown up under Gaetano’s stern, unyielding hand. That shared hardship bound them in a quiet, unspoken pact: to build something different. To raise families shaped by joy, not fear. To create a legacy rooted in love, not duty alone.

The Borgiano Dynasty of Tartosa

The Borgianos are one of Tartosa’s oldest and wealthiest merchant dynasties — a family whose influence predates the Rinaldi monarchy itself. Their legacy is built on centuries of maritime trade, luxury goods, coastal development, and philanthropic patronage that shaped Tartosa’s cultural identity.

The Late Parents: Mauro & Bella Borgiano

Mauro and Bella Borgiano led the dynasty with quiet authority and deep civic devotion. Their unexpected deaths some years ago left their three children orphaned while still young, shifting the weight of the dynasty onto the eldest son.

Visconte Santino Borgiano

Heir to the Borgiano dynasty. Educated in Britchester, San Myshuno, and Monte Vista, Santino is fluent in four languages and known for impeccable manners. His philanthropic foundation restored nearly half of Tartosa’s coastline after decades of erosion.

After the deaths of Mauro and Bella, Santino raised his younger siblings through their adolescence, managing both the dynasty and their upbringing until his marriage. His wife — Lucia (nee Grainger-Russo) now helps him manage the household and its responsibilities, despite being very young herself.

Visconte Matteo Borgiano

The elder of the younger siblings. Matteo grew up under Santino’s guardianship, shaped by the dynasty’s expectations and Tartosa’s refined aristocratic culture. Now seventeen, he stands as a polished young noble, fully integrated into Tartosa’s upper circles and poised for future stewardship of the Borgiano legacy.

Viscontessa Bianca Borgiano

The youngest Borgiano child. Bianca is bright, elegant, and socially promising — a natural presence at Tartosa’s mixers, cultural events, and formal gatherings. Raised by Santino and later supported by her sister‑in‑law, she embodies the dynasty’s blend of refinement and resilience.
